Collaborate

- With whom is the student collaborating
- How does the student know this person (or these people) and what is the student's relationship to this person/people?
- How will the student's mentor know how much of the work has been done by the student?
- How does collaboration add value to this project?


Examples:

Tech Level	Description
0	Two students email a paper back and forth to work on it.
-10	A student hires somebody online to write a paper for them.
1	Several students design a methodology wherein they use a web 2.0 tool (such as a wiki) to organize a group project.
2	A student uses communication software to work on a project with someone at a geographically distant location
2	A student maintains (and documents) a long-term conversation in a foreign language with a native speaker
2	Using web software a students "actively" (the student needs to be able to prove this) takes part in a project with others
